Founder's Corner
Starting his college journey at the age of 17, Glenn earned his Aeronautics degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University followed by an M.S. in Product Development Engineering from USC. His journey to founding FlowPort began during extensive field research at Changi Airport, where he spent months analyzing passenger flow patterns and terminal operations. This research revealed the critical gap between congestion formation and detection that costs airports millions in operational disruptions.
Prior to FlowPort, Glenn gained valuable experience analyzing emergency department patient flow optimization, where he helped reduce wait times by 22% through predictive resource allocation. This experience in critical operations environments has informed his approach to solving similar challenges in aviation.
Glenn has presented his research on post-pandemic terminal adaptations at regional aviation technology forums and published work on passenger flow dynamics in the Journal of Airport Management. His research was showcased at the Future Travel Experience Conference 2022 (FTE APEX Asia Expo) in Singapore, highlighting his contributions to the aviation field.
His innovative approach to problem-solving has been recognized internationally since his early career, receiving awards at the SEAMEO Young Scientists Congress and the ASEAN Student Science Project Competition. Glenn was also selected as one of only 14 students from 600 applicants for the prestigious AEON 1% Club Foundation exchange program between Japan and Myanmar. Glenn brings both technical rigor and aviation domain knowledge to FlowPort's mission of transforming terminal operations through predictive intelligence.
